He's allowed to serve up to 10 years, so he'd have to wait until mid-way through her term.

I think it would just pass to the Speaker of the House.

The 22nd Amendment:
Quote:
No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

So he can't be elected again, but I'm not sure if this prevents him from serving as President if Hillary gets knocked off.

She should do like Obama and pick someone so thoroughly awful that no one would want anything bad to happen to her.

Democrats can get away with this.

Yes, my understanding is he can serve for 2 more years in some capacity. Whether that means we'd have to have an interim election if Hills folds up in year 1, I don't know. This is all new ground and exciting stuff. But if anybody can resolve these kinds of prickly constitutional issues it's the Clintons.

Maybe we can do a rapid Constitutional amendment.

Yes, Bill today! Bill forever!

I'd take a third Bill term over a Hillary one any day of the week.

Could this woman be any more cynical, calculating, and atrocious?

Quote:
Hillary Clinton went down to Dixie this week and tried to pull off a faux Southern accent. Sweet Lord Almighty, folks – it was pitiful.

Miss Hill’ry was drawling and dropping “g’s” all over the stage during a speech to Democrats in South Carolina – the Palmetto State.

I was surprised Miss Hill’ry didn’t show up at her campaign rally in bare feet, waving a cast iron skillet and singing Dixie.

Clearly, Miss Hill’ry has mastered the art of speaking from both sides of her mouth – but she still needs to work on her drawl.

“Hillary Clinton’s southern twang is back,” announced New York Times writer Maggie Haberman on Twitter.

The folks over at Hot Air crafted a spot-on analysis of Miss Hill’ry’s politically expedient dialect in a story titled, “Hillary’s Fake Southern Accent is Back.”

The problem is that it’s not a very good Southern accent. It’s almost like her linguistic advisors made her watch every episode of “The Beverly Hillbillies.”

Look, if you don't like something on the internet just take it off. No big deal. TOJ and that Italian tie guy have been doing it for years. What's the problem?
