Now this is getting really good...the Clinton campaign is accusing the Russians of hacking the DNC servers and releasing emails for Trump's benefit.

Every media outlet that doesn't loudly question whether this entire "Smear Bernie As A (Fake) Jew" operation was orchestrated by the Clinton machine must be presumed to have been part of the operation itself (not just MSNBC).

It's fun that we have the same conversation (with duplicate posts even!) in the Trump and Hillary threads.

no, no, no
you don't get it, progressives feel snub and feel that Bernie was cheated and everything was stacked against him, they only hate trump a tiny little bit more than Hillary. One way to appease them would be to select a known progressive, Warren. Trump did it correctly, to appease true conservatives/cruz crowd he selected Pence as VP. She selected some dude who is for wall street deregulation and TPP this will not resonate well with Bernie crowd. It's massive fuck you to a large portion of (D) base.

They don't need progressives to win though. Win VA and Florida and it's essentially over (those plus CO get Hillary to 268. Trump would need every other swing state.) Kaine helps with both (home state in VA and Hispanics in Florida).

Oh, come on. Trump wins a handful of small Red states and Hillary is handed an electoral landslide. Trump probably gets about 40% of the popular vote but Clinton wins the college overwhelming.

I think you're ultimately right, but the polls right now show Trump tied in Ohio and Pennsylvania and leading in Florida.  I don't think it will hold up.  The Democrats will hold their nose and vote for her.

Meanwhile, right-leaning independents will just stay home.

Hills will win PA. Her family owns a ridiculous mansion about an hour from me. I threw eggs at it in like '98 but nobody was home.

That would have been a hilarious article.  Local Attorney Disbarred for Egging a Clinton Mansion

It's fun to speculate, though. If Hills wins FL+VA+WI, Trump needs PA,OH,NC,CO,IA,NV, plus NM or NH. Considering that WI & VA are her strongest battlegrounds, the key is FL, which might explain the DWS gambit.

If she wins FL + VA + PA/OH, it will be an early night.
