I did not drink alcohol for one whole day

as a result, two half glasses of gin have made me intoxicated, normally a whole bottle leaves me standing straight...
I can see the periodic break from alcohol as quite the relief for my wallet, as well helping me to enjoy my drink all the more.

If you aren't joking/boasting whatever, I'd like to take out a life insurance policy on you, if you don't mind.

It's your risk, so what do I care.

I would call it a biscuit, but no thank you, for it would sober me up.

I gave up drinking temporarily on Sunday for a bet. I normally take a bottle of wine an evening.

So far, the only symptom is I can't sodding sleep.

Yeah, I could not sleep untill 4am... and I left the office at 10am to sleep untill 2pm as a result... Perhaps better to just drink.

You're quite obviously an alcoholic. I think a detox program is what you need, and ASAP.

I know a bit about that....you really need to try not drinking in the evenings and start using sleeping pills to establish a normal sleeping schedule.

That is, if you are indeed serious.

Aren't you the guy that started this post? I'd say you have a problem and need to seek help, ASAP.

As someone who (over?) indulges in both, I suggest that you might want to consider switching for a little while to an herbal alternative that has a fraction of the health consequences and none of the addictiveness of alcohol.

I mean that they're both limey-ass, queen-mum-kissin', spot-a-tea-drinkin', the-piss-takin', crap-weather-havin' Brits. Put down the pint and pick up a toothbrush!
