Coworker bought these after I directed him to the thread, he can't get over his black shoe bias so here they are. He paid $112 shipped for them, wants $118 shipped to recoup most of his money. No pics, but you know the shoes. New in the Lands End box, not even tried on.

would he take $37.50 for them?

$50 was the cheapest they got and I think 2-3 people here stayed up until midnight to get them at that price.

Realistically, the big lump of Gibsons were sold at $100, the chukkas at $37.50. Those are the "costs" you should keep in mind.

These Gibsons worth every penny at 118, and at 150. Fantastic shoes. I am wearing them today with jeans, but come Autumn weather I'll be sporting them with wool pants and sport jacket.
Thank you Land's End for my happy & stylish childhood!

I think they were all gone at $100, weren't they? The listing stayed up for a while, but you couldn't actually buy the shoes.

Yes, IIRC that was the case... They only showed up as out of stock when you went through the checkout process. Quite tragic for me. But not anymore!

Thanks for buying the shoes but your avatar is still quite disturbing. Is that a grape vine and is the other guy going to eat the grapes from there????

Picked them up in the mail today... Good shoes, lightweight. They seem to run true to size, though I could see how someone on the cusp of the size would go one down.
