My two favourites right now are:

Mama Said Knock You Out (LL Cool J)

I need some more suggestions...

I'm sure my selection might differ a bit from others, but I strictly listen to punk/metal/rock when I work out. Bands such as (no order):

Thursday
Strung Out
Tool
Senses Fail
Thrice
Underoath
Atreyu
Receiving End of Sirens
Saosin
Deftones
From Autumn to Ashes
Queens of the Stone Age
Kyuss
Eagles of Death Metal
Chevelle

I listen to some of those bands when I'm NOT working out, but when I'm in the gym I need something with a good beat...It's about the only time I can handle rap.

I used to listen to rock/metal while working out, but now the cord just gets in the way with what I'm doing. Plus the workout is usually so short that it doesn't get overly boring like a 60minute run.

I like most anything. Usually I'll listen to vocal trance or some punk with screaming like AFI or something. Eye of the Tiger is probably the quintessential workout song though.
