I like his Ebay listings.

They're different than anyone else.

And if you cut and paste the URL (like he says), you can even use the zoom feature.

I sell it to you for what I paid plus shipping, how's that? Still weary?

touche! still, though, my grants and scholarships combined give me more than enough to live comfortably, i just suck at managing it. and a lot of people tend to think that the copy + paste method lead to fake/scam auctions, just fyi.

It's another thing entirely (IMO) if you buy out stock from an online affiliate frequented by members, thereby preventing them from benefitting from the sale, & then turn around and try to make $$$ off of them by selling it here. Offering to drop the price after someone calls you on it doesn't make the original move less shady.
I totally disagree. Buying off Yoox is not without risk. There is insufficient information about a lot of the goods. I appreciate that dkzzzz goes through all the brands I'm not familiar with, buys a bunch of them without measurements, and then sells them to me with measurements and the opportunity to ask questions. It's like Yoox has outsourced their customer service to dkzzzz.

I buy a bunch of things on YOOX because I am curious. I do try to flip them instead of loosing a bit of money on returned merchandise. If I sell just one item and return the rest I would not loose any money in a process.

As far as me buying entire stock, it's a bit of a stretch (don't you think). But most importantly, because my comfort-price is much higher than yours, we never really in direct competition for the same items at the same prices.

Believe it or not about 2 months ago a member of this board (from Norway) asked me to buy him Costume N. suit that was not available on EU site. I did just that, but when the suit arrived I checked it out and told him that he is better off loosing 5.00 return fee than paying me to ship that junk to Norway. The suit was made of something that looked like umbrella fabric.

He thanked me and I returned named suit to Yoox. In the end he did loose $5.00 about 3 EU, which is much better outcome than being stuck with a crappy suit you cannot return.

So yea there is some truth to what Jared is joking about.

Actually if he's in Norway he didn't lose any Euros whatsoever; he lost ~27 NOK.

...or subsidizing shitty French wines.

I am a bit surprised that Scandinavians never came up with their own Scandinavian free economic zone or some such thing. It would have been a very successful alternative to EU mess. Oh well that train has left the station.
