The Ted Cruz Thread - Page 60

When I was in vietnam we had a platoon sergeant(lifer asshole)who had NE mailed to him from the states and he would lecture us about how this was the "real news" ala Men in Black . We had some serious discussions about fragging the prick

NE was often the best source of news during the OJ trials.

I have no idea whether or not the cover story about Ted Cruz in this week’s issue of the National Enquirer is true or not, but I had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it.

Likewise, I have nothing to do with the National Enquirer and unlike Lyin’ Ted Cruz I do not surround myself with political hacks and henchman and then pretend total innocence. Ted Cruz’s problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin’ Ted Cruz.

I look forward to spending the week in Wisconsin, winning the Republican nomination and ultimately the Presidency in order to Make America Great Again.

- Donald J. Trump

Trump's statement.

The one thing I like about Trump is that there's a fair chance he actually wrote it himself.

Let's see how safe the candidates feel when all the trump supporters have guns at the convention. Lolol.

No way Ted Cruz can say no, he's on record being the most pro gun guy there.

So obviously a liberal started that petition. Did you click through to the change.org website and see it? https://www.change.org/p/quicken-loans-arena-allow-open-carry-of-firearms-at-the-quicken-loans-arena-during-the-rnc-convention-in-july-2

The "tacti-cool" picture gives it away right off the bat and then this:
Quote:
The petition says Cleveland is a violent city and cites the threat of terrorism and all three Republican candidates' opposition to gun-free zones as reasons why attendees should be allowed to carry inside the arena.
"We are all too familiar with the mass carnage that can occur when citizens are denied their basic God-given rights to carry handguns or assault weapons in public," the petition reads.

Assault weapons? Biggest anti-gun branding ever and something pro-gun folks debunk constantly. Also, the anonymous source of the petition is an indicator.

I don't understand people who put forward grips that far forward. Hold the magazine well or get out of town, noob.

It also looks to me like that front iron site is so friggin' huge it's going to block part of the scope's view. I'm 99.9% sure that petition was started by a liberal that knows next to nothing about guns. Mention of "evil doers" in the petition was also pretty good.

Huh? It's a regular front site post. You initially sight in red dots by lollipopping them on the fsp.

Never worked with a red dot. Only experience I have is zero'ing a traditional sight. When I get my Evil Black Rifle I'll get your advice on setting it up.

Well you use them with both eyes open so the site post wouldn't be in focus and not an issue. They're fun.

I've never held the magazine, the standard M16A4 I had didn't have a fancy ventilated barrel shroud, so I always had my off-hand on the underside of it.  Is it more accurate to hold the magazine?

I have always struggled to keep both eyes open when using a red dot sight.  I need to practice more. :(

With an M4 I always held it like this. Might be harder with an M16 because of the weight of the barrel though.
