Back to Obama's nomination: I am going to be surprised as hell if it's a run of the mill white guy.

According to ataturk is going to be an exciting nomination, some kind of frankenstein

Nonsense. I agree with our president that our diversity is our strength. I mean, diversity of appearance, sex, sexuality maybe. Not stuff like opinions.

We need someone with fibro on the SCOTUS, so they can represent us malingerers.  That's diversity I can believe in.

This would make the process so much more fun.  Way more so than the boring lawyer saying noncommittal stuff that we'll actually get.

You must mean Greger, who says anyone who doesn't agree with him is ripping up the constitution

What would a wise Latina women do?

The point is Obama and his appointee made race and gender a preferential issue in choosing nominees. They gave the other side all the ammo it needed to (rather accurately yet exaggeratedly) level these criticisms.

If he did (IDK) thats dumb. Just get the best qualified, whoever it is.

That's clearly not what he did. I don't think even Sonya would argue she was the most qualified person available at that time.

Thats because she's humble and doesn't like to brag Piob.

She's humble? That's some funny shit. You've obviously never watched video of her. That phrase you didn't know? That's her speaking rhetorically about herself. What fucking humble person would say that?

Edit: it's a paraphrase to fit into the WWJD format but she specifically referenced herself as a "wise Latina woman."

I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male...

That's some humble shit.
