Edit : snark will be considered an affirmation of my perspective

Do you believe Bernie is?

Kaish certainly is and Bush is as qualified as any Dem candidate. Both are more qualified than Obama was.

Both have been very effective executives in managing their state bureaucracies. But I think those skills are over-rated as they pertain to the presidency (and maybe the govenorship.)

To to use a poker analogy (no limit hold em,) both used sound tactics to win almost all the hands they were dealt. Stealing the blinds, continuation betting the flop.

But in no-limit 20 small wins can be undone when you risk the entire stack. This is what Kasich did in his Medicaid expansion. From a budgetary perspective, 4 years of shrinking the bloated state payroll through grinding wins was negated by enacting the expansion.

I don't know of a Governor Bush parallel, but his vulnerability as president would be immigration. Lower top marginal rates would be nice, but this man's immigrant amnesty would ensure a total reshaping of the electorate. My kids would grow up in a world where, nationally, classical liberal values are undermind at evert turn.

Consider Obama. He completely flubbed the implementation of the ACA website. But he was effective in the passage of the L part.

We currently have a president who uses the IRS against enemies, violates the constitution, is not fond the the U.S., and divides the country into factious hate groups.

At this point, the bacteria living in a blow fly feeding off a dead rabbit would be an improvement.

I've never met a person who wanted to fundamentally transform something they were fond of.

What a stupid thing to say. Are you able to read what you wrote and realize how dumb it is?

Lighthouse may be some kind of half sentient bot that can only post by combining random snippets of Fox News and right wing talk radio.

I miss @Artisan Fan in these discussions.

Looks like the courts are going to hear a Ted Cruz citizenship case.  This should be fun.

Ideally it goes to the Supreme Court and ends in a tie. That would be just the best.

Wouldn't a tie divert to a lower court?  I'd be surprised if this doesn't get quickly appealed all the way to SCOTUS.  The standard process would take years.

Who's suing him? Trump or some Dem?

It would divert to the lower court but no precedent would be established. That's even better really, leave this stupid question still unsettled.

What's been disproved in that quote? Have you ever read Obama's books? He attended a SJW church for years; a church that celebrated Louis Farakkhan. How do you explain that?

I want a decision. If Cruz is ineligible, I can switch support to Trump.
