The "clown car" narrative lives. In the old days, I would be frustrated at how much control Media Matters and Soros have over our minds. Google "clown car GOP" and behold.

Now, as I've resigned myself to our fate, its amusing to see how the informed public (people who actually know who the vice president is) can be trained like Pavlov's dog. Just part of the cycle of history.

All in all, we had a pretty good run.

Huh? Where did Obama come into the conversation? We were talking about Bush... Plus, you said that Bush was the last credible and sane president, so you had already counted Obama out... so again, not sure what he has to do with this argument.

We were talking about past presidents hence Obama was not in the running. As I think you have unfairly implied Bush is not credible, and I strongly believe your political bias has a part in that, I was reality testing with Obama. There's no doubt Bush's credibility took a hit with the, "No new taxes" but I stand by my assessment he's the last POTUS to be both sane and credible. It's fine if you disagree but I raised Obama to test standards.

Ted Cruz: this is "the darkest 24 hours in our nation's history."

Pearl Harbor, 9/11, every day of the Civil War, Lincoln's assassination, JFK's assassination... nope. Dudes marrying dudes and ladies marrying ladies. Dark times.

A presidential candidate has never used hyperbole before, ever. Never has a candidate said that nominating him will heal the earth and cause the oceans to recede.

Also, for darkest days, I would throw things like the internment of 100k+ people of Japanese ancestry for simply being of Japanese ancestry. Strange, when we talk about the history of race in this country, we never talk about how a President on the right side of history like FDR would summarily deny due process to an entire group of people.

This "right side of history" trope really makes you sound dumb just so you know.

Lol. That's the whole point, ethan.

No but it's not even funny in an I'm being dumb cute way. It's just obnoxious :\

Did you find it equally obnoxious when used by progressives and SJWs who invented the phrase?
