New SF member and not sure where to find the answer you're looking for? Have a quick question that doesn't belong in a current thread? Welcome, you found the right place.

This is a new weekly thread where new and old users alike can ask a quick question and get a solid answer. If a thread already exists that would be more helpful, we will point you in the right direction. The only stupid question is the one that isn't asked.....so ask away!

Hello,
I am looking for a salmon/ coral colored shirt. Ideally would be a long sleeve t-shirt, but could be any kind of shirt. Affordability is key. This is for my business and i need 20 - 30 of them. Any help would greatly be appreciated!
Thank you so much!

Hi there,

I've been eyeing a pair of Converse All Star Chucks and I thought I had a fix on what I wanted until I ran across these:

http://www.yoox.com/us/44739002OP/item?dept=men#sts=sr_men80&cod10=44739002OP&sizeId=

Why is this pair so much more expensive than the normal, premium chucks that you find on the website (see below for reference)? Is there any other difference other than the retro styling?

Thank you very much!

They are the same, save for the distressing. I forget when that limited edition came out, but functionally, the two shoes are the same , both 70s style Converse.

Hey, I was wondering if any one could think of any good brands to look at for black jeans that fit someone with athletic thighs but are still tapered? I went into to Barneys and tried on every style of ACNE jeans but none fit well since I have big thighs but a small waist :/

http://imgur.com/a/L6BC2 First picture is from eBay, it's tag that I've seen on items that are original, but last three are suspicious to me for various reasons:
1) tag is much different, it specifies US and Europe sizes, and says "Made in UK", I've never seen before Adidas that is made in UK
2) Colors seem a bit darker, but can't be sure about this one, I've never seen it in person, only via pictures
3) zip is in black color, all original items I've seen have white
What's your opinion?

Acne is not going to be a good fit for you, as you found out. How tapered do you want them? And what do you mean by athletic?

Personally I'm looking for something that is very tapered. Similar to how SL jeans typically fit. By athletic I mean that I squat and genetically have big thighs so I need something that my legs can actually fit into.

The only option for you is to go custom or to get jeans tapered. Honestly, though, that look is not really for guys with big thighs, and small waists, so designwise, you are probably going to have to try a bunch of things until you find something that works for you. The Momotaro "natural taper" might work for you, and www.blueowl.us carries them, but it's not a really in the same style as the SLP jeans.

Welcome to the forum, mad. I can't say for sure, but the guys in this thread might be able to help. It's on the Classic Menswear side of the forum, but a lot of the contributors are big time thrifters and can spot a fake on almost any brand. Best of luck. http://www.styleforum.net/t/231002/fake-or-real-authentic-genuine-etc-official-authentication-thread

Call me crazy but I like the old vintage golfer shants that had a bit of bagginess to them whilst still being taught at the leg cuffs. Now, I'm not that crazy, I don't want my shorts that baggy or that long.

I'm looking for something like this:

http://www.hm.com/us/product/51494?article=51494-D#article=51494-D

But with the elastic cuff just above or a bit above the knee.

Personally? I don't think it's made. I hope someone proves me wrong, though, because I will buy ten of them.

Welcome to the forum, intamin. Why not just take a pair of chinos to the tailor and have them out the elastic in where you want it? It's a pretty simple job.

I am looking for a pair of solid, well constructed, and comfortable boots that won't break my bank but will be reasonably priced ($200-400 range) and will last for a while. For everyday use really.

Stylistically I am interested in a pair of lace ups that are similar to these but in black:

I am not really interested in distressed looks, I prefer to let the boots get that way on their own. I actually have a pair of Bed Stu boots, in black, sort of similar to the above but not quite the same. The soles are an odd sort, supposed to look like nails are embedded in them. Kind of crappy really. I have a total of 2 pairs of Bed Stu boots, and I find them to be of middling overall quality. Comfort isn't bad, but I don't think they will last very long. And I'd prefer the boots to have a bit more to em, they look kind of small if that makes sense. Not enough heft to em.

So I need some recommends if possible, companies I can look at, companies that offer something in this style vibe. Officine Creative is pretty cool, I like their look, but I don't know much about the comfort and they are quite pricey. Can anyone tell me about their comfort level, and quality? Any places I can look to a sale on those?

Any help is much appreciated.

does anyone buy from j crew factory? I heard its like a clearance of jcrew but I also heard its not j crew at all and only sells knock offs?

would you buy from j crew factory?

I ask because I recently bought a j crew factory shirt and been wondering, though in my opinion I love the shirt, feels nice and has been great even after washing, and color tone and fit look spot on.

update: i just called the j crew phone support and they said factory is cool too and even though its basically an outlet, lotta times items on the j crew shelves make their way down to the factory (then again its their company, so maybe thats just what they are told to tell me lol_..also i checked in with a few friends i have who are fashion gurus and they said some items may have slightly less quality, but its still excellent stuff.
