Whole family loves it, and a Dark and Stormy is a great summer drink (Dark rum, usually Goslings, lime and ginger beer). Barrets is a respectable brand, and pretty widely available.

Great stuff, definitely a good choice for a soda.

It is hugely popular in Jamaica, along with birch beer. I bought a bottle of Goslings the other day that came w/ two cans of Barritt's for dark-n-stormies, and now I must find where more Barritt's.....

+1. I have one every week (and sometimes the Diet version). Only soft drink I drink. Great stuff. Especially on vanilla ice-cream!

I have a weirdly perverse relationship with ginger beer, in which I only like the kind that burns so much that I can hardly drink it, yet then find myself rarely drinking it for the same reason.
