width of the patterned RLPL? PM sent. edit: why does it look a bit weird at the tip? is it scrunched up somewhere or is it just naturally bent?

I looked at it closely and there's nothing wrong with it. The silk just pushed out a bit in the direction it was ironed.

On a very low heat! I don't know what the aversion is to ironing a tie. How else do you get out the creases? Steam? I think a light iron would achieve the same thing, no? Anyway, I don't think I'm helping myself sell these ties!

Well, I think with most ties, it's sufficient to just hang them if they have creases; however, if they have stubborn creases, then perhaps a hand-held Jiffy steamer held a few inches from the back of the tie with a (brand new) thin cotton handkerchief between the steamer and the back of the tie (in case of accidental water sputter). I've always been taught to never iron a tie - even with a pressing cloth, because it just seems to take the life out of the ties and renders them almost one-dimensional. It can also affect the shape of the ties... However your ties are all great and if I didn't already have too many I wouldn't hesitate to buy some of them!

Without wanting to interfere with this sale, it's worth noting that you are entirely correct: NEVER iron a tie. Hanging works for regular creases from knots but you can try rolling it up gently to get rid of shaper creases or a light steaming as you describe at most. Even a light ironing will kill the most beautiful tie. Nicer ties are handmade three dimensional pieces of silk and not designed to be pressed.
