Seal-Skin Shoes.

Here are some interesting and shall we say, unique, seal-skin shoes: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?t=16082 These are not mine, but I would like a pair simply for the fact that they are made out of a seal. I don't find them particularly attractive but certainly it looks like a very durable skin; rather like walrus, I suppose.

The skin looks funny.

The sole looks glued on with decorative welt-stitich.

It was a joke, I would never kill a seal (unless it broke into my house and was attacking my family) or pay someone for a shoe made of a dead seal.

Your remark is offensive so why make it? Grow up and find something else to do!

Lobb St. James has a sealskin in one of their books. Nice-looking stuff, although probably not what you should admit to wearing on an Arctic cruise.
