Yet another grenson thread

Hey gents, I am going to order a pair of Grenson shoes, pic 5, in black. My question is what model is this (closest I can discern is Stowe or Warwick but I don't think it is either) and am I crazy to order these shoes in black? The brown looks nice but I'm thinking of ordering black because I'll be working in the legal field and I am fairly conservative by nature. Sorry for all the silly questions guys but parting with a 150 bucks for a poor law student is tough. US dollars at that, which works out to about 1 trillion dollars Canadian http://benniesshoes.com/grenson9.htm

I bought the Stowe and I can definitely say that this is not one of them. The Warwick is not from the Masterpiece line; it is a cheaper model. I think that this shoe is a Masterpiece, but I cannot find it on any Grenson site. If Bennie's did with Grenson as it did with the J&M Handmades, to get these shoes, it had to buy every shoe that Grenson wanted to sell. I think a whole inventory of odds and ends, old and new models, etc., was sent to Bennie's. This shoe could have been discontinued several years ago, which is why we cannot find it. I think it is a perfect "going to court" shoe (I am a lawyer) and would buy it in black if they had my size, which they don't.
