WTB - 38s Sportcoats (Hickey Freeman?)

Inspired by Chorse's sportcoat thread, I took a walk over to Hickey Freeman on 5th Ave and tried on the only two 38short sportcoats they had at the store. Unlike their now-retired Boardroom model, the suits were lightly padded in the shoulders and actually had some shape to them. All in all, they fit me like a glove. Since I don't want to spend $1300 on a sportcoat, and Ebaying quality items in my size is difficult, anyone on the board have some 38shorts they want to sell? I'm now partial to HF, but am looking for anything, regardless of season, that's in good shape.

Thanks!

I have a Cashmere Attolini I may be listing later. I am waiting to hear back from someone on it first though.

Here are the measurements

Length form top of collar to bottom 29.25"
Sleeves 24.5"
underarm to underam 21.5"
top shoulder seam to top shoulder seam straight across 19"
waist 19.5"

HF does not get enough love around here. Retail prices are a little high, but they often use very cool fabrics. They have a twice yearly sample sale with Soiffer Haskin and sportcoats (not 100% cashmere) get down to $200 or $250 at the end. Some odds and ends end up around $99. They do have shorts. The next one should be coming some time in November I think.

1. I'm absolutely interested in that Attolini.
2. I picked up some steals at the Paul Stuart sale a few months back, and am hoping for the same at HF. The Barney's warehouse sale is usually kind to me as well.
3. This just arrived in the mail, which is a push in the nice direction. Unstructured, no lining, amazing fabric and no alterations needed -

Can you let us know when exactly the sample sale is? And how low do the suits get?

You can sign up for the Soiffer-Haskin mailing list on their website, or keep an eye on the Manhattan Sales Alert thread. Also, if you look through that thread, there is a lot of information from sales past.
