i would say chocolate.

i remember tobacco was a more grayish brown tone.

these are a straight juicy brown with no grey in it.

i dont know what snuff is sorry.

These distinctions are very fine grained (paging Fok!), but I have always considered "chocolate" to be a brown that has no red in it, that doesn't have that "warmth" but rather tends towards the green end of things. On my monitor, those look a little warmer than I consider chocolate to be... maybe they are a "double-thick chocloate malt" EDIT: Zappo's pic is darker could be your flash... or zappo's.. or my monitor.. or my eyes.. could be anything really Regardless, an extremely handsome and very seasonal shoe.... "if you buy only one shoe this fall etc etc etc"

then these are not chocolate..

the suede brown is a very rich pure brown , maybe a hint of red . im not really sure, my eyes do not articulate colors too well.

If those two middle rows of broguing were combined into one row that just wrapped around the laces, those shoes would be awesome. I have to say that they look a lot better in suede than they do in calf.

I wouldn't worry. Brian isn't going to sell fakes. He is a completely honest seller and a pleasure to work with.
