Nope not the AJ you see in department stores, actualy from Le Collezioni.
Obviously it wont be anything special in terms of denim, I'm just talking in terms of overall fit for someone who likes a relaxed fitting pair of jeans.

I've seen the Collezioni jeans in the store and they really aren't anything special, in any way. The fit is fairly standard, the detailing is rather dull, and the denim itself is about the level you'd get at Target. If these retail for $250, they are about $30 jeans with a $220 shiny metal eagle on the back.
Where some designers make denim an integral part of their aesthetic and thus create some appeal beyond just a regular pair of jeans with their name on them (Helmut Lang, Dior, D&G, Neil Barrett, etc., all of whom play around with fit/styling/details to create interesting items), Armani never really has and so the jeans are basically just an easy way for him to make a killing off of people who simply wanted ANY pair of jeans they owned to have GA on them. The Jeans line itself now often mimics the fit/details of some of these other brands, but they are always far behind the curve.

I used to love Armani Jeans, but since the great man decided to up the manufacturing process from Italy to low cost countries such as China,Rumania Hong Kong etc,I think a lot has been lost.I mean imagine the outcry if lamborghini started making their cars in the Far East ? Keep all Italian labels Made In Italy.

Well, I remember years ago, Armani jeans were cool in terms of the cut, nice fitting but not too tight. And colours.
Now, I suppose to improve his street creed, Armani jeans has the super loose baggy rapper look not to mention all kinds of dyes and paints on them etc etc to state its Armani jeans.

Yes, IIRC, the Armani Jeans line has been around since the early 80's. Up until probably less than a decade ago, there really weren't all that many choices for premium denim and so having "Armani" on your jeans maybe was something desirable (I dunno...) if you wanted something different than CK.
Now, though, there are so many denim companies who do it much better and more interesting than Armani did/does that I think he's just trying to stay relevant. As you mention, though, he's not really doing that good a job of it. The interesting thing, too, is that comparatively speaking his jeans tend to be cheaper than his competition of Gucci, Dior, prada, etc. It seems to say, "if you can't afford the Dior, get the cheaper/lamer Armani but still have a designer on your ass!"
