Two more:
If you don't like awkward humor, you probably didn't think Superbad was that funny. Personally I thought it was hilarious, but my friend found it too painful in parts. I just watched Knocked Up and it took me 3 different sessions of viewing to get through it. It was mostly awful. I hated the main character and didn't find him funny, and I didn't enjoy hearing a pregnant girl ***** about stuff that also wasn't funny, and didn't need to see the birth at all. There were some really funny parts but they were rare and sometimes ruined (the bouncer for example was getting awesome then bam, it's ruined.) Super Troopers is one of my most favorite comedies. The 40 yo Virgin was a lot better the second time. Half Baked is also one of my favorites but if you didn't know any stoners in your life, you might not get any of it or think it's funny.
+1. Although the funniest movie of all time is Dumb and Dumber.
I really didn't like Super Troopers. Along the lines of these movies, Little Miss Sunshine was very good. I've come to like Steve Carrell, with the Office, 40 YO, Little Miss Sunshine, etc.

Which begs the question:
not on the level of classics such as men at work and dead man on campus but hilarious and the only comedy ive seen at the theater in years
