If you don't like awkward humor, you probably didn't think Superbad was that funny. Personally I thought it was hilarious, but my friend found it too painful in parts.

I just watched Knocked Up and it took me 3 different sessions of viewing to get through it. It was mostly awful. I hated the main character and didn't find him funny, and I didn't enjoy hearing a pregnant girl ***** about stuff that also wasn't funny, and didn't need to see the birth at all. There were some really funny parts but they were rare and sometimes ruined (the bouncer for example was getting awesome then bam, it's ruined.)

Super Troopers is one of my most favorite comedies. The 40 yo Virgin was a lot better the second time. Half Baked is also one of my favorites but if you didn't know any stoners in your life, you might not get any of it or think it's funny.

Knocked Up:

Pete: [high on 'shrooms] There are five different types of chairs in this hotel room.
Ben Stone: That's way too many chairs for one room!
Pete: Did you know there's a guy whose sole job is to find chairs for these hotel rooms?
Ben Stone: Please take the chairs away.
Pete: Like this one! It's red with gold stripes and -
[sits]
Pete: - oh, this one is amazing!
Ben Stone: Please take the chairs away. I don't like them. The big one is staring at me and that short one is being very droll.

Funniest scene of the whole movie!

I really didn't like Super Troopers. Along the lines of these movies, Little Miss Sunshine was very good. I've come to like Steve Carrell, with the Office, 40 YO, Little Miss Sunshine, etc.

It was quite good and memorable the first time I saw it. I ruined the memory of it by watching it again recently, it wasn't nearly as good I remembered. Ace Ventura was also really good, along with Happy Gilmore. I think Gummo (don't read what it is about, just see it, preferably not sober) and Battlefield Earth made me laugh almost as hard as Dumb and Dumber, even though they weren't supposed to.

I have yet to see this movie, but if you're saying this is funnier than Top Secret, Blazing Saddles, Space Balls, or even Ace Ventura then you've set up very high standards expectations for this movie.

I think I'm in the minority as one who thought that D&D, 40YOV, Kingpins and Supertroopers were all "eh".

I thought Knocked Up, Wedding Crashers and Old School were all funnier.

But even funnier are Stripes, Fletch and Caddyshack.
