Both are used. Below is a quote of myself from the thriftstore thread. Each are... I don't know, $25 shipped US? Each item cost me $10.63. I think the BB blazer is in good condition. The shoes.. seem well worn. See pics. I have no idea what the shoe is actually other than Alden. If my pricing seems out of whack, let me know because I'll probably just return them instead. ALDENS SOLD; BLAZER SOLD; thanks

I don't know anything about Aldens but I'm guessing the heels are resoled and there's black coloring around the shoe.. Does that make these junk? If anyone want the BB blazer or Aldens for dirt cheap let me know. I'll just charge about what I paid and shipping.

Nothing seems wrong with the pricing. If the shoes were smaller I'd consider taking them on a lark for sure. Nothing wrong with a extra pair of rain shoes.

Upon very close examination, I've found two things with the BB blazer. There is what looks like some fabric pull on the left side of the chest; 5mm, then 1mm, then 1mm. Hard to see as the high magnification shows. Tape measure is a skinny metric (cm) measure. And the collar area has a bit of.. dry cleaner shine? Sweat? I still think it's in pretty good shape and I'd wear it if it were my size.

On the shoes...it looks like someone was a bit sloppy with the edge dressing, but this can be easily removed. For this low price a little elbow grease isn't too much to ask of a buyer....

You can probably get at least $50 plus shipping for the Aldens on ebay. They are an extra wide EEE though, you should know.

You can also find out what last the Alden's were made on, and maybe it's history by emailing Alden with the model number, which it looks like is 581. I haven't found anything online for that one, so I'm guessing it might be fairly old.

Those are the original heels (from the footbalance line) and this is a fairly old model. My guess would be at least 20 yrs. old

Thanks a lot guys, your knowledge is amazing I've received some PMs and I'll go by order of PM, thank you. Re Alden shoe measurements: Size 10EEE as Tarmac states. Sole length 12 5/8" Sole width 4 5/8" (widest point) Sorry but I have no idea how to measure inside length.
