Alden's split toe is not that elaborate. it's fairly typical. You can wear it any where a blucher is appropriate

There's a whole separate thread. You might want to search for it, but I believe people have been reporting favorable experiences. Not sure about the returns, though, it's my understanding that it's a going-out-of-business liquidiation.

I got my shoes from them, it's a totally legit operation. They actually provided very good service, shipping immediately and very helpful over the phone.

as mentioned, since it's a liquidation sale I doubt they will take returns

on that site , there is a shell cordovan tassel loafer,

if you look at color options, they offer a black, burgundy , and TAN.

anyone know if this is also shell cordovan? or is it just tan calf just clumped together in that tassel loafer category?

The cap toe makes it a little more formal, you can wear it with a suit on wet days, but it also looks good with cords or jeans.
