Amazing! Two days ago the upper heating elements gave out and I was wondering when we bought the oven - this thread tells me!

^Darn. I wonder if it could be repaired. I hate how everything's made to be disposable nowadays.

I like my Koizumi S-Line Toaster/convection oven. Its pretty compact, has 3 elements and good temp controls

We have a Black and Decker -- it is awful. I made the mistake of replacing our old one (cannot remember the brand, but it was much better than this POS) because it had a wonky door.

I have a Delonghi toaster/convection one, check those out.

I thought these were for people with absurdly small kitchens. Are they really that useful? I rarely use my oven.

Its useful because you can heat up shit like pizza or bread with out it gettin all rubbery like it would in the microwave. Also good for tuna melts and making something small for yourself without wasting the energy of heating up a whole oven.

I have a Porsche design toaster

It has a digital timer and a switch that glows a cool blue. Everyone comments on it because they can't tell it's a toaster at first glance. it's a bit too shallow so it looks a lot better than it works, especially if you need to toast more than one piece of bread.

So much for "Design."
