The beer on my left hand. I'm right-handed and I might need to use my right hand to do something else.

Apples and oranges.

Beer to quench a thirst or sit around at a pub with the guys.
Wine while dining, at a higher end lounge, sitting in the hot tub.

Well, the glass is always supposed to be on one's right, so unless the beer was also on the right, I'd have to shoot the person who put a glass on my left. Beer sometimes, most of the time wine for me though.

Well ok. It depends where this table is located. If I was in Italy, I would so reach for the wine, if I was in Germany...das Bier! This video is so funny, beer drinkers unite!

Depends on the Beer, if it was a nice belgian quadruple I would choose that because most likely it would go better with the dinner anyways...

No kidding!! In fact, if I see an overdeveloped wine list and only five beers from the big brewers, I assume the restaurant knows little about wines and had its wine list prepared by distributors rather than a sommelier.

Between beer and wine...oh my it has to be beer. And I live in the CA wine country where we're so snotty we wash our cats with $40 pinots
