New SF member and not sure where to find the answer you're looking for? Have a quick question that doesn't belong in a current thread? Welcome, you found the right place.

This is the first installment of a weekly thread where new and old users alike can ask a quick question and get a solid answer. If a thread already exists that would be more helpful, we will point you in the right direction. The only stupid question is the one that isn't asked.....so ask away!

I have a pair of Timberland Boot Company Wodehouse Chukkas in black (http://shop.timberland.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4208757) that have been in heavy rotation for a few years, but they're wearing out and I'm looking for something new.

What are some good options for a black city boot that can dress up or down with nice slim fitting denim? Maybe something slightly nicer than the Wodehouse?

Hello,

I'm 23 yrs. old from the Philippines and the weather here could be extremely hot during the day. I'm 5'7, my body is average and I considered to have an ectomorph body type.

I'm currently working on it, been going to the gym and doing some cardio.

I haven't changed my fashion style for a while now due to financial issues.

What I usually wear is either a V-Neck stripes or a collared short sleeve shirt which I just loose all the buttons revealing my chest. My pants is black kinda similar to this: http://s189.photobucket.com/user/kunimi_hiro/media/cp01-1.jpg.html

And my shoes is something similar to this: http://image.rakuten.co.jp/mischief/cabinet/fw13/10005848.jpg?_ex=128x128

White rims instead of black with a red shoelace.

I have a bit of accessories:

1 Tortoise Sunglasses
1 Onyx signet ring
1 Silver watch
1 Necklace 24 inches with pendant

But I considered myself to be a total amateur.

I need some advice.

Advice on how to look attractive and sexy at the same time. My fashion style sucks, and probably limited because of the hot weather here in the Philippines.

Look for a Chelsea boot, Rm Williams to start.

Tech, that's pretty tough advice to give without ever seeing someone and the type of clothing they have to work with. If your sense of style sucks, that obviously needs to change. Start digging around in this forum and educate yourself. Post picutres of what you are wearing when you feel comforabtle and be ready for honest (and sometimes harsh) feedback. Take your lumps, learn from them, and improve.

Hi, guys I am new to the forum. So I recently bought a black denim Levi's jacket however I personally find that the little red tab ruins it. The jacket is black so it stands out. Is there a way I can remove it completely? If I were to cut it off with scissors would it be a clean cut? Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forum, jaake. I think your only option is to cut it off. It is held on by the stitching of the back pocket so you wouldn't want to remove that unless you are willing to sew it. Try using an exacto knife to get as close as possible and I think you could make it unoticeable. Best of luck.
