Chain Restaurants with healthy food options

I need a bit of help here fellas. I'm starting to run out of places to eat dinner out and am looking for some new options. I know you can make any dinner healthy if you cut out all the dressing, fat, etc., but I'm sick of giving my order and then following up with 50 qualifiers (hold this, extra this, none of that). Most of the service help in this area aren't intelligent enough to grasp these difficult concepts. Dressing on the side is a big step. Usually I end up at either Panera for one of thier low-fat soups/salad combos, or a local deli chain that serves a veggie pita wrap with hummus. Any places that I might be overlooking? I'd even be willing to lift my long standing ban on Chili's/Applebees/TGI Fridays to try something new.

I would stay away from the last three no matter what, even their healthy items are pretty shitty (taste and healthyness)

Just wondering, why limit yourself to restaurant chains?

Believe me, I'd love to be able to find a quality place that wasn't a national chain. I normally loathe chains. Unfortunately, it's all I've really got around me. There are nicer establishments sure, but I'm looking for a place to go that serves meals around $10. West Palm Beach definitely isn't the place for healthy eating.

Hence my longstanding ban. I fucking hate Applebees with a passion. But I'm willing to try almost anything at this point.

Well, I mean it's probably going to be shitty but most of the larger chains nowadays (like the ones we're talking about) have vegetarian/heart healthy selections. You may find one dish that's not too terrible.

Bean burrito at Taco Bell?
Mark , bean burrito at Taco Bell is mostly lard. and alot of other chemicals.

There is a chain here in L.A. if you ever come here, it is called California Chicken Cafe. Very healthy , the chinese chicken salad is very popular , as well as some of their side dishes like brocolli pasta , or pumpkin squash.

Are there any sushi chains in your area? It's not hard to get a healthy sushi meal together.

Check out Thai or Vietnamese restaurants in your area. For lunch, you can get a relatively healthy meal for under $10. Also, look for Salad Creations, Qdoba, Sweet Tomatoes. You may have to have a little bit of restraint if you go to the last two, but it's not hard to have a somewhat healthy meal.

What about Sweet Tomatoes? There's one in West Palm Beach

They don't have one in your area yet, but another suggestion would be Knowfat. There are some Florida locations under "Coming Soon".

Quiznos and Subway have some healthy subs.

Further down the chain, maybe Qdoba and Chipotle. They seem healthy to this fatso, but a true health nut may disagree.

OP wants meals around $10. You can't get a quality sushi meal for $10.

I'm SURE you can find something in WPB or drive a little further...

I meant in terms of health. There are probably more healthy offerings at Quiznos and Subway than at Chipotle, but I may be wrong.
