Does anyone have any recommendations for a good men's haircut in New York? Nothing too fancy, and I'm trying to keep it under $120.
For a good traditional haircut for around $20, go to Chelsea Barbers. If you want something more fashion-forward, try Mudhoney (multiple locations) for around $75 -- but beware of 'tude.
location in NYC has been important for me when getting a haircut, as I rarely venture outside of 5th, Madison, and around central park-- but then, I'm just a visitor to the City. I like John Allen and Trumans (most recently went to Trumans, but thinking about trying john allen if I can make it to next week's trip) and might get a shoeshine while I'm at it! I'm very into the lux mens-club atmosphere when I get a haircut in the city, not for everyone but makes me feel like a million bucks.
I'll give John Allen's a try since it's near my office - how much for just a wash/haircut?
