Ugliest car Rolls-Royce has ever manufactured. Looks like a box, I hate it.

Meh. Personally I'd rather have an Audi A8/S8, Jaguar XJR/XJ8, BMW M5, 7 Series, Maserati Quattraporte, etc.

I love the new one. It's like a middle finger on 4 wheels.

The new one is so ill-balanced though but then the old one wasn't really that pretty either.

I like the Silver Cloud better:

It makes it look like a kit car. What's with the thin rubber-clad steering wheel? In fact, what's the point of having a rubberized thin steering wheel? A thin steering wheel should only be in shiny bakelite or wood.

The layout of the dash just seems so ill conceived.

I can't for the life of me see why someone would want to drive the standard Rolls or Bentley around. A Continental GT, perhaps. The high-end Mercedes luxury cars do practically everything better for half the price. It's sheer decadence, only they aren't actually better made or perform better in any way I can think of.

Imo, any Rolls is a car you should have driven for you while you sit in the back. They just do not appeal to me. They are for rich older men who can not appreciate (or drive) a sporty car.

For the money, I would much rather have an Italian exotic, or even a Porsche.

I like them. The older ones are more elegant, but the new ones are nice too. They have a presence that no other cars have, and I think that is important with a car like that.

I don't see why you're comparing the two. You really have to see one in person to realize what a presence it has.

I agree it's not a beauty, but the proportions are rather nice.

I would not mind owning one (if I did not pay for it---i would rather spend the money to complete my wardrobe) If I did own it, I would probably sell it and buy more clothing and maybe a Porsche GT3
