Lands End selling full canvas suit - Page 2

I think it's good that they are promoting full canvas as something that adds value to a suit.

Most makers don't try this. For example, J. Crew points up the fabrics and their mills but doesn't talk about constructon or makers at all.

Does Sears actually get some of the good stuff? I always assumed that what they had there wouldn't be all that exciting.

I hadn't been in a Sears in a long time until I heard they were selling LE stuff there. But if you like LE, you'll probably like the LE stuff at Sears. I saw the herringbone cardigan mentioned above there, and I bought a yellow buttondown off the sale rack for $12.

The LE clothes are definitely a step up from Sears' usual clothing offerings. But if Sears were smart, they'd offer some old-school stuff, similar to what BoO is making a fortune selling.
