It's hard to go wrong with most anything in 'Stop Making Sense', it's got the best versions of so many songs. Nobody forgets the giant suit, but let's not forget Byrne dancing wistfully with a lamp during Naive Melody while a slide show of comfy chairs, books, and body parts plays in the background.
Anyone who doesn't care for '77' would do well to listen to those same songs live on 'The Name of This Band...'. It really turns The Book I Read into a sweet song on par with Naive Melody, but also brings out the real cleverness of The Girls Want to Be With The Girls and Don't Worry About The Government.
Live work aside, I love Born Under Punches, Cities and Air.
