I don't have an answer for you yet, but I just purchased this years Nemis (in grey) and am just waiting for it to arrive. Will report back with thoughts.

Every other Veilance garment I have is great, so I expect good things.

The two jackets are quite different in design and function. The Gamma Lt is soft shell designed to repel light rain and wind and remain breathable in aerobic activities.

The Nemis is a light shell that is mildly weather resistant and offers almost no insulation value. Good jacket but might not be able to replace the Gamma

how is the isogon, my gripe with it is that it has a hood but which one, the isogon or nemis, in your opinion is a better purchase? im just trying to add another spring/summer jacket to my collection.

I have both, but use them differently so a bit hard to say which if any is better.

Isogon is a softshell jacket with nyco fabric, no stretch. looks good, you'll see some fading after some wear due to the fabric having cotton. this may be a negative to some. I usually wear it when there is a light drizzle out.

Nemis has some slight stretch, nylon fabric so no fading. like Johngalt said it will give you no insulation.  perfect for me when im in san francisco and the weather is nice but the wind starts picking up.

Have you considered the new Field Overshirt? I think that it's worth taking a look at. Love the look and fit of the Isogon but not a huge fan of the fabric for the reasons mentioned above.

The Isogon is defiantly not a soft shell. Just a cotton poly blend shell.

John-Galt, I was browsing through your sales threads and see that you mention black Veilance pieces will no longer be discounted. Is this a policy that applies to the regular line too or just Veilance? Would love to hear more about this if you could share.

Anyone with knowledge/ experience with the Apparat pants, in terms of sizing and fit? I'm aware they're cropped but that doesn't bother me since I normally take a shorter inseam anyway. And happy to hear recommendations for comparable brands along same aesthetics and function.

Hello, I'm on the fence between hoody and jacket. The below pictures are exact color of the items. Which item would you choose if they are priced same (like $150)?

I'd go jacket.
