The cropper is really cool it gives you more options for the look you want. No Neptune here...BLACK.

Is there a fit difference between the Veilance insulated field jacket and the non-insulated field jacket? I have a size small in the 'non' and think it's probably going to be too cold. I could get another jacket for layering, but I'd rather just have this one with some of it's own coreloft.

Looks good buddy. What size are you wearing and mind sharing your weight/height? I really want to get the galvanic but can only buy online and am not sure what size to go for. I am 5'10 and 170 lbs. I wear a L in the mionn vest, a M in the graph sweater and M in the field IS jacket.

Appreciate if anyone has any insight.

i have the FW14 Galvanic and went TTS. I wear the same size in the Galvanic as the Field jacket.

In your TTS galvanic, are you able to layer a suit jacket underneath? Asking as that will be the purpose for me, thanks!
Yes, I can layer a suit jacket or a sweater. It is a really great coat.

In my experience I've had difficulty layering a size 46 suit underneath my small Galvanic. The armholes on the coat are quite high, making it difficult to accommodate suit jackets

Yeah I'm having a hard time with these armholes, too. Why would they make them so small?

They're gusseted as to improve articulation and mitigate lift when you raise your arms. The added material inevitably add bulk when idle

Does that warrant going up a size in your opinion then?

I would advise against that given the excess room in the chest. Unless you have disproportionally long arms, going up a size would almost ensure your arms being swallowed by the jacket. If you're looking to do some serious layering, go for the down Monitor. The boxy frame should have ample room for layers.

I received my Field Jacket and you guys were right on the money! Problem is now that it's huge if I wear it without both the sportcoat and a down jacket. I think I'll be removing my requirement to be able to fit both under the jacket. Anyone want the Field LT in L or Therme in M?

Yeah I tried on a green lined galvanic and ended up with the field coat instead thinking it would be more versatile. Thinking I might swap this for something insulated. pm if interested in a black Field in small.
