Help with belt size conversion

I think Euro sizing (I'm assuming in centimers) for belts ranges from 80-100, typically. If I was interested in buying a diesel belt, or similar, online, what size should I get if I typically wear size 33 pants/jeans? I think that corresponds to a size 90, but I can't remember. Can anyone kindly verify this?

I typically buy a 90 and my waist is a 32-33. It will measure roughly 90cm from the buckle end to the center hole.

95 cm (tagged) is usualy 34", 90 cm = 32".

If you wear size 33 jeans, then i recommend a belt in size 90. If you have 5 holes, then the belt will closed in the fourth

As a quick follow up, I'm assuming you mean fourth starting from the hole furthest in, and second hole from the end?

Being in between sizes, do you all prefer having less of an end (i.e. I should get the 32") or a longer end, with only one belt hole left to use?

I'm not sure which way to go since different jeans hit my waist/hips differently.

I typically get size 32 pants/jeans, and my belts are pretty much all 34/95s.

the belt size is measured from the middle hole to the junction of the tip of the tongue with the end of the buckle. your size measures from the belt hole you use most.

for diagrams check out the "leather connection".
