iPhone...Stylish or Not?

Hello All;

First Post!

Just wondering. What's the Styleforum Verdict on the iPhone?
Cool?
Uncool?
Criminal?

I went to the AT&T store to pickup the new "Tilt" today and the iPhone held me hostage untill I brought it home...

So what's the Verdict?

i got mine to not only replace my bulky sk3, but because i could also combine a phone and ipod together which makes perfect sense for me because i always have both on me.

I'm really surprized that I don't see alot more people with them, although I like it that way...
I was just wondering why?

Because a) not a lot of people want to shell out $400 on a phone, or b) a lot of people just don't care.

no
there are other touch screen phones available
iPhone hasn't done anything new and it doesn't look particularly good

Just curious... What other touch screen phones that look better then iPhone are out there? TIA!

Got mine a week ago. I like it a lot, it's not perfect but I find it hard to belive when people say they aren't impressed with it. Once you pick it up and start using it, you'll see how far ahead Apple are in terms of user experience with this thing. No phone, smart or otherwise, comes close.

And yes it is stylish.

Stylish? I dunno. I guess thats subjective.

Smart phone or no, I'm never going to want to have a phone that friggin big.

Same here. Maybe when they cut the size in half, I will consider buying one.

I saw one on display at the NY MoMA over the summer, not sure what that means though...My friend has one and its pretty bad ass. My impressions were that they are way smaller than people say they are and the touch screen is really cool.

I dont have one or plan on buying one but yeah I can dig it.

Yeah, TBH I don't understand all the griping about the size. Compared to some other phones (some blackberrys, SK3..etc) it's not all that big. Sure it might be tall, but it's pretty damn slim IMO. I'd much rather have just one object in my pocket than both my ipod and phone. Mine fits just fine in my pocket versus any other phone I've owned.

Hey, count yourself lucky! Commercialization is supposed to start in one or two months here in France and the price is rumored to be set at 750 EUR (around $1000). In Belgium they are talking about 1000 EUR (about $1400)!

I really think I ought to pick one up next time I come to the US for 310 EUR plus the cost of deblocking it.

They don't even push email. Once again, Apple drops the ball as far as giving businesses a reason to use their crap.

I use a Q, so the iPhone is indeed bigger and heavier than what I currently use. However, I like the iPod combo and I like the visual v-mail, if it works as billed. However, I hate the AT&T coverage so no iPhone for me.

It doesn't push email? I thought they had a deal with Yahoo or Google for push accounts?
