Creatine will make it easier for you to focus. Rae, C.; Digney, A.L., McEwan S.R. & Bates, T.C. (2003-10-22). I've been a vegetarian on and off my entire life...all 28 years . In my experience it was a bit easier putting mass on when eating meat but it was not a night and day difference. It is more difficult to eat a balanced vegetarian meal, at least in this society. Western people tend to forget their has been a long tradition of living without killing animals; Buddhists and Hindus have sustained themselves in this manner for thousands of years. It would seem to me that if one where looking for some healthy ways to feed yourself with out meat then looking towards these diets would be a good idea. Eating a vegetarian diet correctly should be more then picking menu items without meat from a culture that relies on it as its staple. As for the question of are we made to eat meat..well I don't know about that but I think we were made to have choice and I think our bodies reflect that. Meat or no meat their are ample examples of healthy and productive lives being lead by both. What fixed it for me was killing my food myself, seeing the consequences of your actions can have a sobering effect. I don't have to live like that and I choose not to. Ball Size has yet to be affected

Im a vegetarian aswell. Been for 3,5-4 years or so. I eat loads of oat meal (for breakfast, snacks), whole grain dark bread, and beans/lentils with pasta or something like that for lunch or dinner. I started working out a month ago, so unsure if i get enough proteins, but im not aiming for body building either... Added sun flowe seeds to my diet, for protein and fat.
Might eventually start doing protein shakes..

For breakfast I make a shake with; multiple juices, apple as the base, two tbsp yogurt, one banana, flax seed oil, some type of green powder, raw almonds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and a good natural vanilla whey powder. I also swallow a multi vitamin. Sounds like a lot of shit but I really like it and I know Im getting everything I need and then some. Lunch is usually some combination of rice with lentils or beans. That can be anything from a black bean and rice burrito to Rice and Dal(indian preparation of lentil/bean) I like split yellow mung, their are many recipes on the net, to lentil soup with a grilled cheese. Don't be afraid of enlarging your portion size I actually would really encourage it in you situation. Around 4 I'll have a good quality protein bar. Then I go to the gym. If I'm not super hungry I'll make a protein shake otherwise I go straight to making dinner. tofu stir fry and rice or noodles, salad and a sandwich with some fake meat, pasta, ect. If I'm hungry again around 8/830 I'll make a open face PB & J and a glass of milk, whole milk

I was thinking about mixing juice with yogurt in a shake (to replace milk), but the idea sounded like it would taste awful. It isn't so bad, I take it?

I've mixed yoghurt(both plain and flavored), albeit much more than 2 tbsp, w/ vanilla whey before. Would not recommend it.

I always mix juice and yogurt in my smoothies (along with fresh or frozen berries) and think the combo tastes great.

I'm surprised that nobody's asked: What do you eat now? My guess is that you're basically starving yourself via a caloric deficiency. It may not be the type of food but how much of it you are/are not eating. Post a list of your daily meals.
