At the moment Van Der Hagen glycerin soap. Cheap but gives me a smooth shave even after a week of being unshaven.

The Nivea shaving cream is good value for the money. I also like the Art of Shaving lavender.

I'll have to look into a decent soap, I have used shaving oil in the past out of necessity and found it to be a great extra but not a real stand alone product.

You are going to love me for this. Go to your drug store, buy a bottle of vegetable glycerin. Chop up your Van Der Hagen soap into cubes, microwave in a small 8 oz bowl for a few seconds until it melts, stir in one teaspoon of the glycerin then let it harden in the freezer.

You have just turned your $1 puck of shaving soap into something that can easily contend with the $30+ tubs of top shelf British soaps/creams.

Musgo Real. Smoothest shave ever. When you are shaving you can't even feel the blade. Beautiful result and manly smell. Gotta have that manly smell. Its shaving afterall

Musgo's scent is amazing. Any idea which Musgo cologne (if any) smells like the shaving cream?
