I think my second concert ever was The Who, fucking amazing how much energy they had considering their age (I think it was 2008/9 and I was 15/16). Dylan on the other hand...lol

Probably my favorite rock and roll band. I almost hipstered out of seeing them in '99 (my thinking, no Keith = No Who), but I'm glad I didn't. Zach Starkey was great and they rocked. No gimmicks, just pure rock and roll fury. Still, I might still draw the line at the Who without Moon OR Entwistle

Of the great British Invasion bands (IMO, the Beatles, Stones, The Who, The Kinks, and the Hullaballoos), The Who have always been my least favorite. That said, I still enjoy them if I'm in the right mood, and I certainly wouldn't have passed up a chance to see them live, at least when Entwistle was still alive.

FWIW, The Kinks are my favorite of that batch. (Also, just kidding about the Hullaballoos. I just like the name and wanted to type it into the box.)
