Esben and the Witch - Violet Cries

If you took The XX + Portishead + Florence and the Machine, this is what you would get. The reality isn't as good as the concept. Not bad, but not good.

Heartless Bastards - Arrow - Really good. Lead singer can get a bit tiring but its just good music overall.

I have been listening to a lot of Ronnie James Dio these past few days. Rainbow in the Dark and Holy Diver are amazing songs and Ronnie (RIP) was an amazing singer. Greatly missed.

Picked up a lovely compilation while on vacation in Los Angeles last weel: Explosive Rocksteady. Compilation of the producer Joe Gibbs work put out, not just during the rocksteady era but also the early reggae period. Non stop big tunes.
