Favorite night spots in Boston?

Anyone want to make any suggestions for good, up scale night spots in Boston to go for a drink? Looking more for a lounge/bar, more singles scene. Seems like everyplace I go has a ton of guys and very few women

For a drink, sure, for women, dunno.

It's possible that Oak Bar may have the best, most classic drinks in the City. Mistral is very nice also. The Bristol Lounge bores me.

Just came back from Oak Bar. Great drinks, Manhattans in a bucket on ice....mmmm use to come here to smoke cigars and listen to live jazz.

Women in Boston?
The only way you ever going to see somewhat even ration of men to women in Boston if you go to one of the popular Irish PUBs.
The rest of the places are horrible in that regard.

All action in Boston takes place at house-parties, since Boston has no real night life scene.
So, if you are newcomer to the city....try looking for a job in New York

I have lived here my whole life, but only until recently have gone out "looking for women" for lack of a better term. I prefer a nicer type place, more lounge then club. Just the last couple of times I have gone out it seemed like all guys. To quote a great man " Where all the white women at?"
