*information added 2nd October - this suit is pristine apart from one small issue I have only just noticed - there is a tiny hole approx 2mm x 2mm at 37.5" inside leg length, on the front trouser crease. Provided your inside leg measurement is less than this, this defect is irrelevent since that material will be cut-off (or hemmed under) during tailoring, but I always declare any blemish, no matter how tiny. I think you'd have to be about 7 feet tall for this to be an issue! I have knocked an extra $100 off the asking price, regardless of whether it's an issue that will affect you or not.

Shipping for each item is $50 worldwide by Royal Mail Airsure (tracking, insurance, signature on arrival) and only $25 within the UK via Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery. I accept Paypal worldwide, or a cheque for the GBP equivalent cost from UK members.

Please, browse through all the items, compare measurements to your own suits and feel free to ask me any questions. Once you've decided, please PM me with your choices.

Thank you for looking!

The true cost must factor in the additional events and locations to which you must take the wife to justify a new tuxedo

That really is a stunning tuxedo.

Wonderful things. I actually felt compelled to PM the guy who posted the other day looking for a 40R tuxedo in the $1000 range, to let him know this is available. I hope he folows through...he probably won't do better!

That 48L is calling me. However, it's a full inch shorter than I normally wear.

I think this year, designers have generally decreased jacket lengths for any given size by a fraction. It's possible that it will still work, even being an inch shorter, but that depends on your body proportions of course.

nothing in 46?

Man, you are killing me. If I hadn't just sent you a grand, I'd be sending you a grand for the tux...

Awesome stuffs, HF.

Tux sold pending payment.

tonylumpkin will get a little something off his next purchase from me if this sale goes through, for his very kind recommendation to another member.

Huntsman - be grateful it's now off the market!

I'll see if I can ensnare you next time.

SuitingStyle - nothing this time sorry. There's only so much stock I hold at any given time. However, the quicker one batch sells, the sooner I get more stuff in. I'm trying to work on about a 2 week cycle, but that extends to a month gap, depending on how busy my day job gets.

I would seriously kill for that tux in a 38R.

Gentlemen: I recently purchased a suit that was one of Holdfast's previous offerings and wanted to remark that the suit was just as nice as advertised, the measurements were accurate, and the shipping was well-done and prompt. In my experience, there are quite a few excellent sellers on the Forum, and I certainly recommend Holdfast as one of them.

Regards,
Rick
