I have a Boondocker from March 2013 that lies pretty flat. I think people are looking at that #5 half Japanese photo, and expecting that upturned look, and may be disappointed. I think you are running the same risk with that photo of #13, if I'm not mistaken the waxed flesh in that photo is either well worn or treated. Please correct me if I'm off base.

I'd love to see a 310 #5, or one of the Green boots make the cut in a 310.

Folks, I just found out from this http://imgur.com/a/BSwLe album that waxed flesh can be done in natural chromexcel.

I know it's late to be changing makeups, but I've been on the fence about #13 (despite my early support) but I'm 100% in if we can switch the leather to this lighter shade of brown.

I am proposing:

**13. The "I-Can't-Fit-Into-the-2030-Because-of-My-Fat-Feet" Waxed Flesh Service Boot
Model: Service Boot
Last: 110
Leather: natural waxed flesh
Leather (tongue): natural CXL
Eyelets: 7 vintage brass eyelet
Sole: Commando
Comments: plain toe, partially structured, pull tab, natural midsole, tonal upper stitching

We would be the first Viberg composition (that I know of) to make use of natty waxed flesh. It's a long shot, but this just went from "that shoe looks cool, let's make it" to "let's make this one of a kind beauty". Where's my support? Those who are buying #13, let's discuss.

I'm in for #13 with no speedhooks. I'm open to either brown waxed flesh or natty waxed flesh.

UPDATED
Service Boot in Navy Latigo

Last: 2030

Structure: Partial

Heel Tab: No

Tongue: Black

Sole: Dainite

Mid Sole: Natural

Eyelet Type: Gunmetal

Eyelet #: 9

Er...  If the OP and others can verify that for me, sure, I can change it.

I can be the OP now! Interested parties on the #23 blue boot... Please let me know if any modifications/preferences now or forever hold your peace.

What drew me in to the brown waxed flesh was the contrast after prolonged wear. I find the colour richer and i think the natural looks a bit muted, in that lighting anyway. I think it looks great on the mocs but im not feeling it on the boots.

I think we've also decided on white upper stitching.

Sweet! That's 4 confirmed interests in the Olive 310. I was toying with the idea of changing to Blue Latigo but it didn't seem to draw any incremental interest. I think we'll be sticking with Olive.

Check you PM's poeple!!!

They're definitely well worn and i dont think many of us interested will really baby it. What's great is that we can wax it to start the process all over again.

You know as much as I like some of the more unique boots out there, I'd probably wear this one the most by a long shot. Especially since I'm mostly a jeans a t-shirt guy who for some reason doesn't have a plain brown boot.

I agree. There's a reason why David Beckham wears brown boots all the time just about everywhere he goes. Brown boots pair well with anything.

A few issues:
1) Viberg doesn't have any natural waxed flesh in stock to my knowledge.
2) That particular leather is too thin (4-4.5 oz). The CXL/waxed flesh that Viberg uses is in the 6-7 oz. range.

I'm lending my support for Olive Oil. Would prefer 9 eyelets, but don't have strong preference. Who else is down with Olive Oil?
