I want this or Navy Latigo punched captoe in 2030 last, but it seems brown or black is everyone else favorite
I would be all over Navy Latigo.
These ones Brett Viberg's wearing here appear to be Navy and if so, are the coolest Navy ones I've seen.
I am digging the idea of a navy boot
I'm new to this world, but if no one is going to propose a navy boot: Model: Service boot Last: 2030 Leather: Navy CXL Leather (tongue): Roughout natural CXL (open to change here) Eyelets: 7 antique brass eyelets Midsole: natural Sole: Dainite Comments: unstructured toe, pull tab, tonal stitching, brogue toe cap
+1, but like latigo more
I am good with this one. Although, I am probably good with almost anything.
+1 with Latigo. I didn't know I needed such a boot until I saw Khana pics.
If the masses want latigo, then latigo it is. My preference would be another boot, but I'd probably jump on this if another I want doesn't go through
Agree with black tongue
for the navy boot what about this boot, except in navy suede and navy calf, 9 blind eyelets, oiled midsole, leather sole
400
Navy Latigo, 2030, 10 eyelet- I'm in!
I'm sold on Linafelt's work shoe but the navy Latigo will be really nice as well!
Navy latigo looks awesome! I really like it with the brass eyelets.
Yes, 2030. I want a style like the previous styleforum Viberg with Navy Latigo and a clean cap toe. White or beige vibram would do. I haven't seen anything like it and it would be my go to boot for everyday use. My dream boot. All the other boots requested fill a niche gap in my wardrobe. I want an everyday boot so I never have to wear sneakers. This is it.
SUPPORT THE NAVY!!

^ Maybe this is one of those color-blind tests, but those boots in the picture of Brett look totally brown to me..!

If you're interested in the English Tan Dublin on 2030 (#22), please say something. I'm all for this makeup, but trying to get a sense of if it's even worth bothering about or if I should switch to something else.

I'm interested.

The ambient light in the room is very yellow, which is combining with the navy boots to give them a greenish/brownish cast, most noticeable on his left foot which is on the ground. Focus on the shine coming off the toe of his right boot and it looks more navy.

That's what's cool about navy. Looks anywhere from black to brown to blue depending on the lighting

I too have admired this shoe for quite some time. Never thought I'd see it get made though, so I share your excitement. I don't think this one calls for rivets, which are much more of a boot oriented sensibility. I also think it could detract from the design. I think what you have here is perfection...I'd leave it as it is. Just my two cents.

Yeah, I think this design is pretty close to perfect already. I would probably bow out if the color changed dramatically or if rivets or other bells & whistles were added to what I feel is a pretty damned good make as-is.

I hear you, I've always liked them on boots, but am only belatedly thinking of them as a possibility on an oxford shoe. They may work however, and let's think about it. Here are two (far far far inferior in every way!) oxford style shoes with them, just to think about:

I get what you're saying. It's not my style, but I hear you. In my mind, I keep going back to what is utterly perfect as it is. Hard to improve upon perfection I say. But it's your build and far be it from me to squelch your creativity.

lol....I have been known to fold quicker than a cheap map...so who knows....I mean it only took Fok to curse at Mr. Porter's price battle last time.. for me to ask in on the Natty CXL boot after it closed...

LOL! I can sure relate to that!

I'm telling you right now...you're ordering these boots! I wouldn't push you so hard if I didn't feel you really needed them! These are gonna work well with any outfit, trust me. Have I ever let you down before?

So, as you see from the above, I've cut it down to 15 now.  Unless I hear a huge surge, the ones that have been cut will not be around much longer.  The Echo boot, as one of our more editorial selections to give more diversity to our offerings, will stay on the table,  The leaves 6 spots for.  Right now, it seems like the most popular makeups are the Half Japanese (5), 2 different makeups using the brown waxed flesh (one on the 2030, one on the 110), the blue collar boot (#6), SOME boot on the 310, a disorganized group if I've ever seen one, and maybe a Galway-esque boot.  That makes a total of 7.

Someone tell me if I'm grieviously mistaken, of course.

I am going to cut down to 10 in the next day or two, so if I haven't listed your boot in the 7 above, you should make your voice heard loud and clear.  Very, very, clear.

How about the navy latigo service boot (last one on the list)? It had quite some support earlier. Anyone interested still please back me up here

Service Boot in Navy Latigo
Last: 2030
Toe: Brogue Cap Toe
Structure: Unstructured or Partial
Heel Tab: No
Tongue: Black
Sole: Dainite
Mid Sole: Natural
Eyelet Type: Gunmetal
Eyelet #: 7 or 8
Upper Stitch: Tonal
Sole Stitch: White
Laces: 1 set – 2 tone leather, 1 set – Waxed Lace

I'd be in for 8 eyelets, partial structure.

Yea I thought 23 Navy Latigo was already locked for the top 7. We should not be penalized Just because we got our sht together early and have not spent a dozen posts debating different shades of brown leather or how many eyelets.
