also any band that the lead singer wears a dark slim suit and carry's a brief case and sun glasses and kicks up one of his legs really high and dancing around doing that kick dance.

is it true that when bob marley and other reggae bands introduced reggae to britan the skin head punk kids took it in and ska was born out of the two?

both bands have been mentioned, RBF in a rather unflattering light

The way you describe skanking (that's the name of the dance) you make it sound like that Monty Python "funny walk" skit.

Completely wrong.

Ska was introduced in England back in the early 60s, through Jamaican immigrants. Became fashionable with mods, a portion of which later evolved into skinheads (spirit of 69 and all that).

The Wailers back then were a vocal trio, led by Bob Marley, singing with various ska bands such as the Skatalites. Here's Bob Marley in the middle:

How about Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra? Amazing musicianship.
