I think red on a Porsche looks crappy. For tradition, silver on any German car like Porsche, red on any Italian car like Ferrari, British Racing Green on any duh British car like Jaguar, etc following traditional international racing colors. Silver is the best color for looks and maintenance but too common so I'd go with brown or burgundy. Hardly ever see those colors on todays cars. Actually the new color shifting paints are very cool and not something you see everyday.
