I think red on a Porsche looks crappy. For tradition, silver on any German car like Porsche, red on any Italian car like Ferrari, British Racing Green on any duh British car like Jaguar, etc following traditional international racing colors. Silver is the best color for looks and maintenance but too common so I'd go with brown or burgundy. Hardly ever see those colors on todays cars. Actually the new color shifting paints are very cool and not something you see everyday. http://www.casanovacars.com/toyota/c..._for_scion.php

You don't like Guards Red on the Porsche? It's a Porsche classic color! I parked next to a new red Cayman and thought the color worked very well. And it's a proven fact that Guards red lets you go faster and that your exhaust will smell like roses. Silver actually was the unofficial color of the Corvette, as deemed by the car's legendary designer, Zora Arkus-Duntov. I know a lot of people prefer red on a Corvette but the later model year color is a bit too dark for my taste.
