Another great pair of boots. Alden's seem to be expensive but worth it too. 🙂

Thanks man. Definitely a good buy and I'm happy that I shelled out for the Aldens.

Oh I'm sure bud. They look awesome and I'm sure extremely comfortable too. Nice insoles I bet. Not to mention they will last forever. smile.gif

I've never worn either, but as someone who was close to pulling the trigger on the Islays, I just looked up the AS Hannover and I find that I definitely prefer the look of the Hannover to the Islay.  I am actually a complete neophyte when it comes to AS - I think I had always thought they were even more expensive than CJ.  Either way, the Hannover looks great - I assume it's a good quality boot as well.

First Viberg for me (Service Boots of course)..

I'm very happy with them as a casual boot. Extremely sturdy and substantial feeling.

@europrep Excellent. Do you wear your chukkas with a sportcoat or just trousers and a shirt?

Trousers and shirt for me mostly. Could depend on the chukkas also. Some are a bit more casual than others.
