suit

Hello everyone

I need your help. I'm looking for a new suit since my other one is too small. My last one was a slim fit navy blue one. I primarily wear my suit when going to proms (not like the typical american-prom, just like a normal party where everybody wears a suit).

I wanted to get a new suit but I don't know what to choose. I don't want a navy blue or black suit because I would like to stand out in a way but not too much, I would just like something different because everybody wears these colors to the proms I go to. But I also want to use the suit for family meetings and not only for a night out.

I was thinking about a burgundy suit (http://www.asos.com/ASOS/ASOS-Skinn...h=0&pge=0&pgesize=36&sort=-1&clr=Burgundy&r=2) but I think I couldn't wear this to a marriage or family meeting. I heard a burgundy suit is more season bounded, is this true?

I'm average muscular with average shoulders and looking for the slim fit, skinny fit range and they should be comperable with some brown dress shoes. I have a (light) hispanic skin tone. Any suggestions?

I was trying to explain that it's just like a normal party without the choosing op prom queen and king and that kind of stuff. Mabe that sentence wasn't realy necessary
