Hello, everyone! I am new member of this forum and I wish I could get some good advice from you!

I am a Chinese student in the UK, and I am 23 years old. I am looking for a formal suit, and I would like to buy a good one and hope it can last a long time. I am 175cm and 71kg, which is not tall and I find quite hard to buy suits in the UK.

However, I still bought a suit for myself after learning for a while here. Maybe a little reckless, because the suit is made by Bottega Veneta, not by Zegna or some other men clothes maker. But I really like it since it is my first suit and fits me quite well…:) I do not know if it is canvased or fused, but I think the fabric is quiet good. I still remember someone mentioned the right choice is fit, fabric and then construction. I think he may be right. In addition I really like the style of this suit, kind of like Napoli style I think. I do not like boxy suits which make me even shorter.. I am not strong either…

Here are my questions. Can you tell me who makes suits for Bottega Veneta? I spent 450 pounds on that suit in Bicester Village. Someone told me some suits or clothes of Bicester Village are actually made for the outlets only, is this true? How about the Zegna suits there?

In addition, I also want to try something new. I noticed that some people buy suits on Ebay. Is it a good idea for me? I really like the style of SARTORIO by KITON Napoli, could you tell me some more information of this brand? Like fabric, construction and handwork or not. What is the relationship between Kiton and SARTORIO? Can this brand compare with ISAIA or Zegna main line?
I also find some ebay shops, can you tell me if it is a good idea to buy suits in this shop?

I think this shop is good, and there are a lot of suits which are my size. Any thoughts about this shop? Or you can recommend other shops. I know I asked a lot of questions, and I really appreciate your help! Thank you again!

The picture is my suit, and I know it is kind of casual..

I looked at BV suits a few years ago in Vegas. They are full canvass.

Sartorio is a different line by Kiton I believe aimed at a younger crowd. I thought Sartorio was once owned by another prominent tailoring house whose name escapes me.

I think the best advice is too visit as many suit boutiques/ places as you can to get an idea of whats there and what you like.

Kiton bought the Sartorio brand from Attolini several years ago:

Sartorio was purchased from Attolini several years ago. It is a *lesser* labels, but what that means exactly is unclear (as you noted).

A play to the younger audience, at a lower price point with less intricate handwork but similar styling, is the opinion the Vaclav in me has.

Do you think it is a good choice to buy this suit? What is the best choice of suit for the similar price?

Attolini and Kiton are the most expensive RTW Neapolitan brands.
They are overpriced retail but are very high quality. For my money
and taste, I prefer Belvest ( not from Naples) , or some Borrelli. However,
Belvest, especially, doesn't necessarily have a "look" because they
manufacture for many retailers world wide and make the styles
which the retailers require. Nevertheless, Belvest is a quality product.

None of my Belvest clothing looks like this. It is much more conservative
because it was made for retailers for more classically- oriented clientele.

Thank you so much..I know Ktion is very expensive. So you do not think Sartorio's price can match its quality or maybe it is also a little overpriced? I see some belvest suits and I think they are a bit too mature and conservative for me, kind of like Hickey Freeman. Could you recommend some other Neapolitan brands? Luigi Borrelli is quite rare in the UK or ebay..

Sartoria Partenopea. They also vary in cut, but less than Belvest.

BTW, my suits/sportcoats from Belvest would never be mistaken for Hickey
Freeman, but they are not short and tight.

Anything on eBay should be avoided. It is hardly a revered outlet for clothes for anyone and most if not all of the merchandise is being dumped because it will not sell in any respectable outlet.
