Allen edmonds cracked/wrinkled leather on new Sanfords

Hey guys!

I just recently bought a pair of sanfords from the AE shoe bank. These are my first pair of nice shoes and I was wondering if these are a keeper? I have not worn these yet. I am afraid that the crease will crack and then these will not be worth keeping. Or am I just being paranoid? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. I am new to the whole nice shoes thing
