Do boots like this usually have a heel that high? It almost looks like a cuban heel to me

seems like it might b a pretty small size to me, making the heel look slightly big...who knows tho just a guess. i still think they look great

I'm going to order two pairs of the Goodyear welted sidezips to replace my cemented ones that I got.

Queensland heat destroys all glued shoes like nothing else.

Leather quality was great though, same with shape.

For comparison, I thought I'd post up another picture of the previous model with the toe size clearly visible. Also, this is sort of evolution picture. I've been wearing these a good amount with not a lot of care for them.

Obviously, he did slim down the profile on the new build, but I actually like both the one in the picture and the new one. they serve slightly different purposes, obviously. The old one looks a little more workwear.

Yeah I dig the old one as well as the new one. Is the sole thicker? Appears that way

Edit: In for a 43. Could someone give me some sizing info on these new ones? 43 in CPs, snug fit. 44 in GATs, perfect fit. Liam initially suggested 42, but with this new toebox I felt that would be a bit snug. Either way if someone could confirm I'd be at ease.

sole thickness: lian's new picture doesn't have the rubber layer on the sole that mine has.

I emailed Lian about sizing, and he recommended I go with a 46 based on my brannock size of 12. It seems a little high since I wear a 44 in CPs (kinda snug). Now I just gotta decide side-zips vs. chelseas. My heart says chelseas, but my inner conscience sternly reminds me that side-zips are inherently superior.

@notwithit I also take a 44 in CP's and am a 12 on the brannock. My Chelsea's are a 45. I'll let you know how they fit when I get them in a week or two.

I'm like a 12.5, wear 45 in cp, slp, MMM, loub, almost everything so I went with 45. I hope they fit.

Good to hear re: leather quality. Is heat that bad for glued shoes? I'm living in a place now where summers are generally 35C+ for 3-4 months, now I'm worried about my glued shoes.
