The tan and black suede are nice, black calf looks good too.
Can't decide between the chelsea and side zip tho.

Has anybody on the waitlist for the next batch heard anything about the next round yet?
And for the people that received some from the last round, how are you liking them after a month of wear?
Just curious.

I've been in contact with Lian recently and he's informed me that:

"Our operations will start again in early March with two batches that are fully booked.
Next available batch will start around end-April. Production time is 10-15 days and delivery 5-7 days.
You would receive your order around mid or end-May"

So I was put on the booking list for the end of April.
Orders are limited to 1 pair at the moment.

Still undecided between tan or black suede or black calf on either the chelseas or side zip.

Lol he was supposed to e-mail me back when batches started again per our conversation a while ago... haven't heard from him since. If I find a nice pair of MMM or SLP in the meantime, I'll probably just skip.

^ Yeah, that's what he told me (I'll email you when production starts in early March).

He just emailed me a few mins ago and said there is a 3-4 weeks delay as he corrects the last (Like people in the thread mentioned the welted versions weren't as sleek) to where he wants it, and he will get back in touch once he is happy with it and ready for the next batch.
At this point I'm leaning toward the tan suede side zips. Gonna get the crepe sole CP's to fill the chelsea need.

He actually got back to me again today in regards to sizing but also let me know that:

"The 1st batch has not yet started and will be delayed 3-4 weeks due to modifications on the last. I am afraid therefore that the 3rd batch delivery date would be mid or end-June rather than mid or end-May that I first informed you about.

Sorry about that. I want to make sure that once we go into production, everything is verified and controlled according to the high standards of the label. For this I need more time in the current development."

So the wait will be a bit longer now...
Oh well, suppose I'll have a nice boot going into the fall.

Read through this thread again looking for help with regards to sizing.

I measured my foot using the guide, the measurements are: 40.5 length and almost F width.
Just for other references, I wear 41 (8) in Margiela and Common Projects.
I also wear 41 (8) in Sanders and Grenson shoes. I wear a 8.5 in Nike/Jordan and Adidas/Vans.

Lian recommended sizing down one to 40 in order to get a snug fit as the leather will stretch to conform to my foot.

US 8.5 is equivalent to 41 so sizing down one from sneaker to dress shoes is common. Mine would therefore be US 7.5 (40).

He said he personally measures 41.5 but goes with the 41.

Can anyone that owns a pair confirm this?
Thanks.

I'm a 9.5 D on a Brannock. I went with 42 on my pair. With both insoles he provided, the fit is snug enough for me.

Just to add another data point, I'm a 9.5 in Converse and Clarks Desert Boots and went with 43 for a good, not snug fit without any extra insoles. I believe my feet are slightly wide.

Is this the CP chelsea people are talking about?

If so, I can't say I'm a fan of the sole or the dual pull loops (or the price tag, for that matter).

Yes. Those ones.
And also these zips (Geller collab)
The Geller side-zips look a lot nicer. Looks like they did away with that split seam down the middle as well.
