Can you recommend a BB in Harlem? There are 3 or 4 online that look good and are priced right. During the day I plan use public transportation or my bicycle. At night I will be driving my car.

This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected. I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker. A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...

Sorry I did not reply to your PM, I just didn't have an answer. Any reason why you want to stay in Harlem as opposed to other parts of town? While Harlem will probably be cheaper, you have more choices in places like the Village.

During my next trip to NYC, I plan to "hang out" in Harlem for 3 or 4 days. Trying to hit as many Jazz clubs as possible. In the past I always end up at the well known clubs (blue note, birdland, jazz standard, smoke, etc.). This time I'm looking for clubs where the locals go. Earlier this year I went to St. Nicks in harlem near 135th. I had a nice time.

Have you looked into anything on the Upper West Side, in the 96th st - 116th st ranges? These are all convenient to Harlem, by bike, cab or subway.
I confess, I don't see a lot of places that look 'nice' around here.
You may also want to consider looking on Craigslist. Staying in an apartment in NYC often offers the best experience, IMO, and Harlem has some very nice apartments.

I fully concur with the Craig's List idea. Many people have short stays furnished for students and what not with flexible terms.
I like your plan, have a great time. Where are you visiting from?
Stay on the west side and hit Dinosaur if you can... http://www.dinosaurbarbque.com/nycIndex.php
